This work is not only a commentary on the skeletal system of most classrooms but a work for the work that those systems assign: it is for people who do homework–because of covid-19, we are asked to #stayhome so this work is for everyone, as everyone is now doing "home work."

By adding a space between "home" and "work", I am attempting to incite autodidactism as well as a form of inclusivity–as in, anyone who does home work is welcomed to listen to this record not just those indicted into the education system. By demanding a symbiosis between the work one does for their-self and the work they do for school, the feeling of enslavement that is often inherent to or simply a causation of homework can potentially be mended.

Regarding the diagram which functions as the "album art" for this work: I was feeling distracted in my classes classrooms, I decided to diagram (score) the way in which sound was working in them. The teacher spoke to each person in the room and when each person spoke in the room, they spoke to the teacher; the students did not speak to each other and if they did, they were considered "disrespectful." After I mapped this out, I realized how unhealthy the sonic communication system was for everyone in the room.

The image that represents this record bends the skeletal system of a traditional classroom to proclaim a warning by stating that even if we shift from an overtly hierarchical form like a triangular square into a circle, the sonic communication system does not shift and thus, the same system is perpetuated.
